Probably the most lively, happy, welcoming bar in Chesterfield. The place boasts a fun night. A decent selection of cheesy music that fits in the theme. The bar hasn't really changed in the last 10 years, but has more than enough potential to be even better and take advantage of it's ongoing theme, but it's still a great bar regardless.
The club downstairs doesn't seem to have changed much in 25 years, but the atmosphere is good and music suitably retro/cheesy!

It's a nice club with a big, spacious dance floor and a nice, chilled out vibe to the place. The bar staff is nice and acoustics in the big Phoenix suites is excellent for a dance party. The car park is quite large and good enough for a busy event. Now here's the reasons I have deducted 1 star from an otherwise excellent place. 1. The dance floor is okay but not as smooth or nice as I am used to at other venues. 2. The car park doesn't have proper water outlet, so if there's a good amount of rain (and we live in England here) the whole car park will be a big puddle and you will ruin your Armani sneakers while trying to get into your car. 3. The selection of drinks at the bar is limited, specially when it comes to non-alcoholic drinks. Despite those things though, if there's another party there, I would go.
Nice venue. ;)

Lovely greetings and great bar staff , ordered chips and sandwiches for 15 of us , simple presentation really fresh and good quality fillings,, lot's of hot chip's to go around also plenty for. Pitch and putt directions a total disaster, sketchy directions poor signage. Only managed seven holes as we couldn't find the other two . Being taken to the start would have been great or even a map to point us in the right direction,, but as scouters we made our own course and had a great evening. A little more direction would have been great, but we're used to winging it and making the best of what we've got
The greens were in superb condition last week. Only complaint is that the bunkers had no sand in them.

Superb course . Staff very polite and professional. Nice cool beer. Highly recommend
Very well kept course. Nicely laid out and set up to be challenging without punishing wayward shots too much. Friendly and welcoming team in the clubhouse. Very well worth a visit.

A bit of a game to get to. On the outskirts of chesterfield with a very large post code, it must have been 3/4 of a mile down the road from the post code. Then when you do get there you have to drive up a rather steep hill, on a single lane road, with cars coming down the same road at you. With some exciting blind corners on a single lane road at the top. But you do get quite a nice view from the top of the hill and it is nice to see all the open green space's.
Very nice place to go sledging as the hills are perfect and snow often falls very smoothly onto them.

The Princes Sports Club is situated next to Brampton Manor which is approached by a tree lined drive. There is ample parking. You go through a very old pub and up some stairs to a spa. On arrival we filled in some health questionnaires. I had a very relaxing neck, shoulder and back massage and my friend had a facial. While we were waiting we were provided with teas or coffees. We then had access to the sports club next door. This is a very clean modern building. We used the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and small pool. This was a brilliant day out all for £19.50. One little thing would have been nice if the lady doing the massages would have made conversation. It makes you feel a bit more welcome. A definite return visit.
I have not been there.

Had my wedding reception here. Emma was lovely and very helpful throughout, especially as we changed rooms! Good spacious room, bar staff friendly. Good priced drinks
Went in to watch the football and we had a great time! Everybody was friendly, great atmosphere, even though it was really busy, didn't have to wait long for drinks. Great place to watch footy!

My son goes here, he absolutely loves it. They do a lot of great activities, and can teach kids some valuable life skills. I've rated them four stars because they can be a little disorganised at times.
